




















To launch the Tickets Sale’s campaign for Rock in Rio 2017, we wanted to create something really engaging. And with that wish in our minds, we made everyone run - digitally. We took the traditional race of the fans from Rock In Rio’s gates to the stage rail and transformed it into a game for mobile and desktop. The contestants ran through the “City of Rock” - as we call the festival’s venue - and the fastest ones by the end of 8 days were rewarded with a pair of tickets for the festival. As a huge video game enthusiast, I was very delighted to be part of that project. Besides being the visual lead of this game, I did a full research of different game aspects. Working with a team os very skilled designers and developers, we create 5 characters, each one representing the major music tribes in Rock in Rio - Heavy Metal, Classic Rock, Hip Hop, Pop Music and EDM. One of the hardest aspects of this game was to recreate the complexity of Rock in Rio's venue, with different stages, scenarios and activities. Even the smallest detail was addressed by the team, and even the main theme of Rock in Rio was recreated in 8-bit style.
